A Scout makes sense for riders who value a lower, lighter-feeling cruiser and mostly ride local roads or shorter tours. It is a different proposition from my Indian Pursuit, which is built around weather protection, luggage, passenger comfort, and long days in the saddle. Comparing them only by engine output misses the ownership question.
A practical buyer rule
Canadian buyers should confirm final local specifications, warranty details, financing, and availability rather than relying on US listings. Model-year announcements can arrive before every Canadian price and inventory detail is settled. Treat any unconfirmed price as reported, not final.
Before you decide
